Club Meetings

Monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of every month (excepting December) feature informative speakers, often top authorities in their areas. Past topics have included freediving hunting, the Underwater Search and Rescue Unit, local dive boats, the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber, Shark Stewards, Channel Islands Expeditions, and much more.

Beach Dives

There's plenty of shore diving opportunities right in our own backyard. No need to hassle with a boat - you can hit some spots at night, after work, or on the weekend. Club members are familiar with all the good spots, so come on in and find a buddy.  Club beach dives are usually, conditions permitting, on the Saturday following the Meeting. Locations are announced at the Meeting, in the Club Facebook group, and in an email blast to members.

Dive Travel

Dive in and have fun with us! The Club does an annual Veterans Day weekend trip, typically to Catalina. Other trips to great locations in the US and internationally happen every year, organized by our Dive Coordinator or by other club members (often with some sweet discounts). Plus, hearing about other members’ experiences can provide inspiration for your own scuba travel.

Boat Diving

Experience our beloved Channel Islands - Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Catalina, Santa Barbara, San Miguel, and San Clemente Islands. The Club supports  local dive operators - we go out on the Spector, the Peace, the Triton and others about every other month.

Topside Activities

Divers like to have fun, right? We hold an annual picnic at Refugio State Beach, throw parties, do an annual Photo Contest, and go on day trips to cool and interesting places nearby. Family and friends are welcome to most of our topside activities.
